I have an HP 1210 PSC printer attached to my desktop Pc running XP and shared
via network with my laptop running Windows 98. After setting the appropriate
port the laptop prints to the printer just fine. However, whenever I re-boot
the laptop, the port settings for the network print are changed on bootup. I
must then reset the printer port on the laptop in order to print again.

How can I prevent the port settings from changing every time the laptop is
re-booted?

Thanks, Lou
