Network permission is denied?

I have a user who is a valid user to a resource, in this
case another computer in which he has files and
directories that he has created and is the only one who
has access to, on a system that is running Win2k Adv
Server and he is operating on WIN98. He can see the
computer with network neighborhood and only sometimes can
he access the files. Most of the time he is denied
permission to access the resources. On the Win2K server
system he is setup as a poweruser with full access to he
needed files and so on. At other times when he trys, he
has all access he needs.

He is the only one with this problem, any suggestions?
Needless to say he is very frustrated.

Make sure that the Win98 user is logged in to the domain (don't press ESC
or select Cancel) at the initial login during boot up and also make usre
that the Win98 username/password is valid on the domain. There's no way for
a Win98 machine to pass anything except the currently logged in username
for share access.
