I clicked add client for microsoft network and was asked
to reboot. Now I get a logon box that has admin in the
user name box and Control1 for the domain. It is asking
me for a password. I've tried "password" as the password
and I get an message to contact my system administrator.
How do I get past this so I can get windows to run?

Tried clicking Cancel or hitting the Esc button? If that lets you in,
change the Primary Network Logon to "Windows Logon" and restart.

Thanks Carey, but I can't even get into windows to do
that. When it boots up I get the logon screen and
without a password - it won't let Windows start.
Any other ideas?

Try booting into Safe Mode first and then deleting the entire contents of
your network settings in the control panel, reboot and start over..

When you go to the Network Properties screen it's listed right there.

Thanks - how do I get it to boot in safe mode? I get f2
for set up but I'm not sure how to get it to come up in
safe mode.
