Network only rebooting server

I start my server in the morning. I can ping myself. I can access the
internet.
If my son switches his PC on, he can ping himself, but not me, and
vice versa. No internet
If my wife switches her PC on, she can ping herself, my son, and vice
versa. Neither can ping me. No internet

Then I reboot my PC, and all is well, everyone can see everyone else,
all have internet access.

My IP 192.168.1.1

son 192.168.1.2
wife 192.168.1.3

last two have 192.168.1.1 as gateway, as my PC connects to internet.
last two have kerio 2.1.5. Mine is a winroute 4.2.

All have netmask 255.255.255.0

So what happens at boot, that corrects the fault ? Is this some
hardware issue ?
TIA

What could be causing this ?

I'm sorry if this is a repeat (had a connect failure during send)

As a follow-up:
I don't need to reboot at all. If I take the cable leading
from my PC to the hub out, and put it back in, the network appears
again, no failures at all. Can anyone explain what is happening ?
TIA

I tried it, but could not reproduce the fault. I did try lots

file sharing is not required for "ping"...

I'm guessing its got to be something relating to your sharing software
needing to reconfigure itself for the added computers...

it is odd behavior tho..
