Network numbness. . .

I have a desktop and a laptop each running XP PRO
connected to a network over a linksys broadband router.
They talk to each other and share a cable modem internet
connection. I am trying to add a W98 desktop machine to
the network. It shares the internet connection but cannot
see the other two machines. When I open Network
Neighborhood, I get the little flashlight thing that will
go for hours if I let it. Why won't it find the other two
machines?

I know it's probably something simple . . .
