Hello
I set up a home network of 3 computers
The host is running Windows XP, while the other 2 clients are running Windows 98 SE
I set up Internet Sharing
The host is connected to the Internet through a Dial Up Connection
All 3 computers are have access to the Internet
However, on one client I have a little problem
When I click on the "Entire Network" in the "Network Neighborhood" window, I get the following message
'The Network is not accessible
For more information, look in the help index at the topic 'Network Troubelshooting'
I did look it up, and could not fix the problem
Can any one help me resolve this problem
Any help is greatly appreciated.

you MUST activate network putting an USERNAME AND PASSWORD

close the current session (on WIN 98 computers) and start
a new one with a valid user on the host computer.
(if u don understood me let me know and I will try to be
more clear).

Thanks for your reply.
However, The host computer, which is running Windows XP,
can see the other 2 client computers, which are running
Windows 98 SE.
The problem is with the 2 client computers. They are
getting the error message...
If you can provide some more details, it will be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks again...

OK --> PROCEDURE TO COMPUTERS RUNNING WINDOWS 98:

from the computers running Windows 98 you must put a
USERNAME AND PASSWORD to activate the network in those
computers...
When you start the win 98 computer this ask for an usename
and password IF YOU PUT CANCEL THE NETWORK IS NOT ACTIVE
but you still can ping other computers and use IE for
instance.., If your Win 98 computer do not ask for user
name and passwor you mus change the computer configuration
from CONTROL PANEL --> Nework (ICON) --> and now in the
CONFIGURATION TAB, "BETWEEN"!!! ADD and share files and
preinter BOOTONS you've got a list to choos the startup
form chos Client for microsoft network---> These procedure
will change your system configuration and when you start
the computer (WINDOWS 98), IT will ask you for an username
and password PUT ONE and CLICK ACEPT!!! not cancel...
NOW you could use the brouser in computer neiberhood...
IF NOT SEND ME A MAIL AND I WIIL SEND YOU THE PROCEDURE
WITH GRAPHICS...
