Hello,

I have just formatted my pc and reinstalled Win 98 se and am not sure how to
configure Network Neighbourhood, my other pc connects to the internet ok and
so does this one but the computers arent seeing eachother. Does anyone know
of a good easy to follow web page to help me configure my computer correctly
please or can someone explain in simple terms here? I am connected via a
cable modem and a 4 port router.

Thanks.

Just use DHCP on the router for IP address assignment, set the PCs to
"obtain settings automatically" (or whatever it is they call it) and
make sure that they're both in the same workgroup (and that it's typed
exactly the same). Enable file and printer sharing, make a share or two
and away you go.
