i have 1 pdc and 3 dc's. i can browse all my dc's from all
dc's. one dc i had to change the ip address and subnet of
the nework it was on, now i can not browse the nework or
map drives from the pdc to this dc. however, i can browse
the pdc and map drives from this dc. it tells me that i do
not have permissions to use this network resourse. i'm
logged into the pdc as administrator, any ideas? i need
help.

Hi Kevin,

It sounds like you may have 2 issues occuring here. Browsing would be
seperate from an authentication or authorization issue.

For browsing, I would suggest using WINS if you do not have this
implemented. Then point all the servers to this server for WINS. This
will allow for browsing across subnets.

The permissions issue probably would not be resolved by this. Check the
security logs and see if there are any specific errors being logged when
this issue occurs.
