Network neighborhood icon

I just set up a small home network. The computer which
runs Win XP Pro can see this computer. When I click on my
network neighborhod icon, the computer searches for it for
about 5 to 10 minutes. After the icon finally comes up, it
can never find the other computer. Any ideas?
