Environment:
Windows XP SP2/3 workstations on a LAN connecting to Windows 2003R2 64bit
cluster.

Problem:
We are currently getting the following error on some machines that are using
files on a file cluster:

Delayed Write Failed : Windows was unable to save all the data for the file
\Device\WinDfs\Root

I'm using netmon to monitor 'connections active' and 'connections
established' while the established connections average around 181, the active
connections average around 249692. Can anyone please explain the difference
between the two and why there is such a big difference (is there a limit on
active connections?). Also if you can think of any other perfmon counters I
should be monitoring to diagnose this problem either at aPC or the cluster
that would be great.

Thanks.

Pete.

Oops, I meant perfmon not netmon.
