I have been trying to install an actiontec modem from
Qwest for DSL hookup. While trying to install, it has
messed up my "network". When I click on control panel--
network--it comes up with the message "Your network is not
complete. Do you want to continue?" I am no longer able
to dial-up with AOL. It stops when it trys to connect to
the network.

Also, when I try to check my modem with the command
winipcfg, I get the error "DHCP client. Your computer has
lost the lease to its IP network addresses. Network
transactions can no longer be performed on the device."

Please help me if you can. I am using a public access
computer from my library.

TIA Susan

Go to Control Panel | Network and install any of these components that
are missing:
