KIS please )

I have several pc's on a small network. Each machine has dialup internet
access via the same telephone line (No broadband available - therefore not
always online)

Is there a way I could configure Outlook Express for messaging between pc's
via the network rather than the net.
Or
Is there a basic programme I could use to send messages between pc's.

Thanks for any help

John

If one of your machines is always on then you can run a simple email
server. If it's running Windows then this should do the job:

Following on from that, more complex but supports many, many more users,
Mercury/32. http://www.pmail.com

Built in spam filtering, can be configured to run mailing lists, can
have AV scanning.
