Here are a couple of free utilities that have greatly improved my
wireless LAN experience:

Network Magic http://www.networkmagic.com/ is a graphical depiction of
your LAN (wired and wireless portions). It shows you all the devices
that hook into your router, whether they are online or not, whether
they are secure or not, etc. It will even log intruders on your
network, capturing their device names and MAC addresses.

Speedmeter Pro http://www.networkmagic.com/labs/ is a graphical display
of traffic on your network, separately displaying and logging the flows

- your router to/from the internet, and
- workstations to/from the router.

I hope you find them as useful as I do!

- Jeff
