I recently networked my Windows ME PC. I would like to know if there would
be any way of disabling the Network Login that now pops up at power-up and
after rebooting????

Thanks,

Brian

You might find this KB article helpful:-
"How to Prevent a Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me Logon Prompt at
Startup"

Windows ME Doesn't have a network neighborhood.

I used the procedure in the KB Article. And I am still required to login.

Do you have any other suggestions.

Brian

To give Win ME's version of Network Neighborhood it's full and correct
name......
"My Network Places" -
I don't think that it's too far a stretch of anyone's imagination to think
towards that end-point? (although, I'll grant you, I should have got it
right first time - one of the penalties of using too many operating systems
at the same time

1) did you successfully change the default logon to Windows Logon??
2) Do you have a password in your default account?
