Excuse me for being a novice...

I have a win2k Server and 8 winxp machines sharing some files and printer
services. I would like to be able to log each of my workstations on to the
server when they log on to each machine, but when I set this up it gives me
a window and I have to reenter my login name & password

I know I'm doing something wrong, but not sure what. I have heard of
setting scripts for this... ?

TIA~

Is your Server a primary domain controler? And subsequently the XP
workstations a member of the domain?

I believe your network environment is a workgroup, not domain, isn't it?
In this case you must have accounts on every workstation for another users.
And enter this credentials in promt. Or you can enable "Guest" account.
