Hello
I have a customer running an environment with a Citrix Windows 2003
Terminal Server and a Windows 2003 Server as a Printer Server. They
used to be in separate domains with a trust but now they are both in
the same domain. There is about 30 printers installed on the printer
server.

My problem is that sometimes when users logs in to the ts they are not
able to print before viewing properties on the printer they want to
print to. Eg. when you print from word you just gets an "Access
denied" error message. After viewing the properties on the printer it
works fine. It's usually HP printers, but happens to other printers as
well (Canon, Intermec etc.).

My understanding is that "View properties" actually connects to the
print server in some way to update something with security, but since
they are in the same domain, why is that?

Anyone having similar problems? I've tried to reinstall drivers,
remove the printers from the profiles, deleting the user profiles etc.
etc.

B.r
Johan

I'd suggest you post this in microsoft.public.windows.terminal_services for
the most expert help, as this seems to be specific to users in TS.
