By default in a W2K domain any domain user can add up to ten workstations to
the domain. Apparently you have reached that limit. A user in the domain
admins group is not subject to that limit. A regular user can also be
delegated the right to create computer accounts in the domain or an
Organizational Unit so that are not subject to the limit either. That can be
done by configuring the domain /OU properties/security/advanced permissions
to allow the user/group to create computer accounts or right clicking the
domain container, select delegate control, select the user/group and choose
join workstations to the domain. --- Steve
