I have 2 networked PC's running ME. Each has its own
printer and PC1 accesses the internet via cable modem. My
problem is that only on rare occasions can PC1 'see' PC2
on My Network Places and use its printer. PC2 can usually,
but not always, 'see' PC1 and use its printer. This makes
file sharing and printing a somewhat hit and miss affair.
Despite this PC2 has no problem accessing internet through
PC1 at any time.
I have added a 3rd PC to the network on occasion. PC2 and
the new PC3 'see' each other fine and can file share.
It seems the problem lies with PC1 being antisocial in
some way but despite a recent new hard disk and software
re-installation it refuses to recognise other PCs and is
picky about letting them access itself.
Any ideas?
