This is a general networking forum. Do you have a question or any concerns?

As for getting into this field, I would suggest to attend classes to get the
real nitty gritty of how things work with Windows or networking in general.
But then again this soley depends on which direction you want your skill set
and/or career to go.

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express
or any other newsreader), and configure a news account, pointing to
news.microsoft.com. This is a direct link to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups. It is FREE and requires NO ISP's Usenet account. OEx allows you
to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
watched threads or subject.
It's easy:

Yes, many folks do post here, whether beginners or the advanced 15-20 year
professional that is having a problem that he/she is having difficulty with.
It's an open forum and we all learn from it, even myself after been in the
business since the early 80's (yea, I'm in my late 40's, and and my 17 year
old daughter even says I'm old! LOL).

There are numerous forums on networking. Some of them out on the web
actually point back to the forums here and are just another method to post
and view posts from here. Other than that, I can't think of any specifically
that jump out at me, other than Mice and Men, or something like that.
Believe me, you can get a broad prespective in this forum alone.

:-)

Good luck with everything!

Ace
