Network drives+folders inaccessable after a while

My XP runs under a domain controller. I can open the network folders for an
half hour. Then opening them turns a kind of punisment (long waiting period,
asking the password, etc), at the end they become inaccesable.

I cannot access another XP ( a machine under the domain controller) or
another standalone Windows Server Web Edit.

There are no cabling or hardware errors. Pings are ok.

To fix the problem I simply log off then log on again. All network folders
are accessable again (for a while).

Anyone has a solution?
