After a period of time idle, the network drive cannot be
accessed and need to disconnect and map again. Any setting
can disable the auto timeout in WinME? Thanks.

The timeout isn't on WindowsMe, it's on the "server" sharing the files. See
if this helps:

Try disabling autodisconnect as shown in this article ... note that the fix
needs to be applied to the server, not to the client; you may have to reboot
the client, not the server, once applied.
