I am hoping this is the right news group for this question. I provide
support for a local school and up until recently they have not had this
problem. It just started happening over the past 6 weeks.

Network Layout
80 computers running Windows XP with all the latest patches / updates
1 domain controller running Windows 2003 with all of the latest patches /
updates
Anit virus on the server and clients is Symantec (not the problem because I
tried disablling it and problem still exists)
ISA 2004 on the server with all the latest patches / updates

Problem
I use a login script that maps the user to a network resource on the server
when they login in. The login script is part of a global policy I have
setup. Nothing has chnaged in the environment ( it has been running without
any issues for over 2 years) but in the past 6 weeks randomly we are having
users log in and not have their network drive mapped. I can manually go in
add it succesfully. I beleive I am having some sort of network problem I am
hoping someone can point me in the right direction on how to troubleshoot
this.

Do the client machines use the policy 'Always wait for the network at
computer startup and logon'? Are the client machines getting an IP
lease before a user tries to logon? Are there any messages in the
eventvwr on the client machines which coincide with the problems?

Cheers,
