Hello all!

I have a Windows 2000 Server SP4 that has 3 network drives connected. Two of
them are connected over VPNs.
My problem is that the VPN network drives are shown as 'disconnected' in the
explorer after a while, which causes some programs to fail.
Is there a way to keep them connected, or to check for connectivity and
reconnect them automatically?

Google couldn't turn anything up....

Thank you,
andy

On the fileserver(s) run the following

net config server /autodisconnect:-1

Or in the registry at

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\LanmanServer\Parameters

Set autodisconnect between -1 (off) to 65535 (number of minutes)
