I just started volunteering for a women's shelter and their office has four
computers with different versions of Windows on them.

Is it possible to create a wireless network with the four different
computers which have different versions of Windows on them? They have Win
Millenium, Win 2000 and Win 98.

Any assistance with this would greatly be appreciated. Thank you, Jennie at

Yes it is possible provided the systems have wireless card or USB
adaptor and all appropriate drivers for the card/adaptor have been
installed.

Hi

Each Version of Windows has the capacity to be configured with Ethernet type
of Network.

Ethernet is Universal and you can put on the same Network any Version past
Windows as well as other type of OS'.

This page might provide you with links to instructions concerning the
Network configuration of the Windows flavors that you mentioned,
http://www.ezlan.net/installing.html

The whole Network should look like this,

This might help with the Wireless aspect.

Wireless - Basic Configuration: http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.html

Wireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html
