I've recently installed Win2k3 w/ SP1 on a Dell 2850 server. The
installation was SP1 integrated. I have had a vendor install some
application framework and some data. Problem is that every time you reboot
the system all the network connections disappear and there is a service
failure message upon reboot. The NICs are Dell dual integrated. I have
upgraded the drivers - no luck. I have tried other Intel based NICs - no
luck. I have tried Dell - really no luck. Would love to rollback SP1 - no
luck, integrated. Would love to rebuild the system - Application dependant,
cant to much money in current project. Had the same problem on an older Dell
server and upgraded the NIC drivers - WORKS GREAT! Does anyone have an
answer to fit my problem? How about a proven NIC recommendation or a good
quick fix?

Hello Steve.
From the Dell web site I see there are a lot of possible NICs for your server.
From what you say I suppose you have the Intel PRO1000MT Dual Port.
If you are sure of the drivers you could try to update the system BIOS.
There is an Update Package for Microsoft Windows "PE2850 BIOS WIN A04".
