This is a first for me. I'm trying to change the IP address of a server.
When I go into Network Connections window there's nothing there. I also
tried to see if I could change it with netsh, however, it comes back and
says errors were encountered trying to access the network configuration.

The server is running fine. I can query the config by doing an IPCONFIG.
Everything looks good. Somethign is obviously corrupted but not sure how to
fix it.

Suggestions?

Thanks. I tried everything. I searched the web and found about a dozen
different causes and solutions to this type of problem. None seemed to work
for me. In the end, one solution I read was to simply go to Device Manager,
delete the NIC from the hardware list, and then reboot. It worked.
Obviously a registry corruption somewhere. Removing the hardware from the
system and rebooting allowed Windows to rediscover the hardware and install
it again. I had to configure all the networking again, but that was no big
deal.

I should have posted the solution here the other day but I forgot. Thanks.
