Network connection unplugged message after reinstalling HD on anot

Hello everyone

A server of my workplace was diagnosed for a fault by my senior
administrator and its hard drive was reinstalled on another PC and repaired
using a Server 2003 Installation CD. When we booted it up, we continously
received the 'Network connection is unpluggged' message and the server
connection was completely lost. We could not ping the server from any client
or view the entire network. Restarting the DHCP server did not solve the
problem. The server is connected to 5 clients via a switch and CAT 5. Any
suggestions for troubleshooting would be appreciated.
