Hi,

I just installed W2K3 Server Enterprise on an old Compaq
Proliant 4500. Now, it's not recognizing my network
adapter. I've searced HPs/Compaqs site and found the
driver, but it only works for W2K server. Does anyone
have any suggestions?

You can download the latest (12/04/03) drivers here - the site says/implies
that the drivers work on Win2k3:

Thanks for the feed back, but I tried installing it and
got the error message "device cannot start code 10".
Could it be that the device just doesn't work with 2003,
but does work with 2000?

I had Compaq Prosingia 200, (1997 model),
when switched to new server, I needed additional
network card, and so used the network card of Prosignia 200.
I had to find out drivers for win 2003, and I found it on
driversguide.com

Try this, if you know the network adapter model no.

Go to:
http://members.driverguide.com/ums/i...1420426v918069

Their give User ID : driver
Password: all
After you do proper selection, the drivers are listed, specifying various
OS.
