Hi,

I have installed Windows Server 2003 R2 on HP Proliant DL580 G4 server.
After applying SP2, the server is not able to connect to other servers in the
network. When SP2 is uninstalled, the server connect to other servers and
behave normally, the issue reappears after installing SP2. Please help.

Is this an SBS server? If so, here is the fix below. If not, then you will
need to determine what is set on your server that is non-default or a third
party driver causing it.

Perform the following before un-joining it from the domain:

netsh interface tcp set global rss=disabled
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled

Reboot the machine. Then re-join. Reboot.

Did you try Googling? There are a lot of errors being reported with SP2. I'm
not putting it on any of my servers yet.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/927695 may help....

Since you can call PSS for support at no charge, if the problem you're
having is related to a service pack, you might find that the quickest way to
resolve the problem.
