Network connection pop up window keeps coming up

I have laptop that is running windows 98. I am using Netzero’s login
to access the internet, but i keep getting a login/password pop up
window every few seconds from windows. I check the cancel button but
comes back again. How do i disable this?

sounds like you have picked up a dialler (malware)
