Network cards that work with bonding ( bond interface )

Hi. Can anyone here who have implemented / implementing bonding with
their NICs recommend which NICs work best with bonding either in a load
balancing or HA environment ?

I am looking at implementing HA with each NIC connected to a different
switch.
