Trying to install a Belkin 10/100 32 bit PCI Card in a
friends computer. The set-up disc tells me to ensert the
Windows 98 SE disc to get the driver I need. We do not
have that disc or can't find it. How do I get this driver?
Thanks,
Don

You find a friend who has the W98SE disk. +/-

Well the actual driver of the card should be included with
the card, try installing it again, when it asks for the
windows cd, try targetting C:\windows or C:\windows\system

By switchign between those two folders, most of the time
you will not need the cd, if it doesn't work, try going to
belkin's site on another pc, download thr driver and put
it on a cd then bring it over to the system its needed on.

See if you have the Windows setup files (search for a folder containing
several dozen files that begin with WIN98 and end with the letters CAB) on
your hard drive, if you do you can tell the driver installer to look there
for
the files it needs.

I doubt it'll be that easy unless there was already a NIC
installed. If this is the first installation of any NIC, it's
probably looking for the network stuff from the W98 disk.
