Motherboard: PCChips M810LR version 5.0 (from 2002) - PCI 2.2 +5V slots.
Network Card: Intel PRO/1000 GT - PCI 2.3 "universal" (both +3.3v and +5V).

Card doesn't work nor is even recognized by the computer. When an ethernet
cable is plugged in, the appropriate link speed is displayed on the upper
LED and the link LED (lower) is steady. The link LED does NOT blink with
activity.

PCI version 2.3 cards are supposed to work in PCI 2.2 slots - backward
compatibility exists.

Has anyone else gotten this combination of hardware to work?
