When connecting a network card to the adsl modem router does it matter
what cable is used be it RJ45 cat5 or RJ45 cat5e is there any
difference or can any of the cables be used?

Are the ends of the cables the same or are there different ends to
look out for?

Thanks in advance.

du.

Nope there both the same RJ45 is the connector type, the only thing to watch
out for is if its crossover or straight through, just get a patch cable
which is straight through and you will be laughing
