"A network cable is unplugged"

I get this message on my new Gateway 300DX that connects to my D-Link DI-624
router via a D-Link DWL-G132 USB wireless adapter.

The messgae appears in the System tray.

The messge appears with the text "Local Are Connection". The connetion to
the router is fine and my Internet connection is fine also.

Is ther any way to "turn off" this message ?????

YES. Just right-click on the Icon in the sys tray and select Status.
then select Properties. At the bottom of the box you will see two
boxes. Uncheck both of them and you will not have any messages about
connection.

Right click on the icon and disable it
