This is designated as a MAC bridge cable miniport.
I have a wireless laptop, a wireless pc, and a wired pc.
Nothing is unplugged. All working well. What is this little
icon in the startup with a red x trying to tell me?

It means that a connection between the computer and the Wireless Access
Point hasn't been established yet. I know it says "network cable
unplugged", which doesn't make any sense since you're wireless, but it's
still essentially the same...
