NETWOKING/WIN98 CD/ROM ERRORS

I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO INSTALL BELKIN NETWORK CARD ON MY
WINDOWS 98 COMPUTER SO I can use things I need on my
windows me computer when I am on my windows 98 computer.
But on my windows 98 secon edition computer it tells me. I
file 'PROTMAN.DOS is missing from my windows 98 second
edition CD
2, Going another way it says 'DOSODI' is missing from the
CD.

I do not know what is going on or how to get windows to
set up the Belkin network card. Any idea's???

Search your hard drive for several dozen files ending in the letters CAB -
if found, these are your Windows Setup files and you can tell the driver
installer to look there for the added files it needs.

these files may also be on your original driver disk for the nic, I've had
similar experience ...it takes the drivers from your install disk then looks
at the win9X disk for some files then usually needs to get back to the
install disk to finish.
