netsh dhcp / dhcpcmd - Which to use ???

Has dhcpcmd been superceeded by netsh dhcp, or are these command line
tools used for different tasks?

I want to script the creation of scopes & the creation of reservations
(with their associated hardware addresses) on a Windows 2003 Server
SP1.

Is there a differnet tool (M/soft or free) / better way of doing this
work??

dhcpcmd has been around longer than netsh (I think since the NT 4.0 Resource
Kit, even), but either one will do what you're trying to do. If I had to
state a preference, it would be for netsh since dhcpcmd requires you to
install the Support Tools to use it, while netsh is a native tool.

I use dhcpcmd tool with my php scripts for manage dhcp scopes in
WINDOWS 2003 and NO PROBLEM!
You can find dhcpcmd on www.microsoft.com Windows nt 4 resource kit
No difference NT4 or 2003.
