I use an XP Pro on a LAN that uses SBS 2000 Server with ISA Server
2000. This LAN does not have a Static IP from the ISP and cannot get
one (not sure it is relavant to my question). I need to remotely
administer Windows 2000 Pro desktops that are on another LAN & I know
that another vendor can do this using by having the remote W2KPro
desktops initiate a Netmeeting--so I know the remote LAN is configured
to permit this. The remote network has a Static IP and the desktops
have Static IPs on the LAN.
How do I set this up on my end within ISA Server allow this external
connection?
Do I need a Static IP on my end?
Is there another way, without buying anymore software, such as
GoToMyPC, LogMeIn, etc to remotely administer these remote W2K
desktops.
Similarily, how can I establish A RDC to XP desktops through my ISA
Server?
Note: If there is a more appropriate newsgroup I should post to, please
advise.
Thanks
