Help!
I have been trying to use netmeeting and MSN messenger
and Window messenger for the past weeks with no results.
Communication is very bad, can not see my contact webcam
in net meeting.
Conversation will drop in messenger.
HOWEVER, when I bypass my MN-700 and connect my DSL modem
directly to my computer, everything is working great
(netmeeting and others ). I have the feeling that the
integrated Firewall is responsible for my issue. I know
that I can not turn it off but is there any settings I
can use to make my MN-700 work well with netmeeting and
messenger? I can not keep going unpluging all my hadware
to communicate with my friends.
Thanks!
Stephane

For net meeting the only way to get that old worthless piece of crap to
stand a chance of working is the DMZ. Also remember that firewall
software can cause issues to when you are behind a router. THe problem
is the netmeeting was not designed to work with NAT & that is the cause
of most netmeeting problems.
