netgear wireless problem accessing internet

We just purchased a new Dell and connected it to a
wireless internet service. We wanted to have both our 98
(1st edition) Gateway and the XP Dell connect to the
internet so we bought a Netgear cable/dsl wireless router
and two usb adapters. The Dell connects to the router and
internet just fine. The Gateway connects to the router and
the dell can see its drive and printer but the Gateway has
no internet connection. The Dell cannot print to the
printer on the Gateway. The Gateway does not see the
Dell's drive or printer. Any suggestions would be
appreciated. Please send reply to my home address
