I'm suffering a similar problem. It was discussed under:
"Netgear WRG614: Hang during large file transfer"
on this group a week or so ago. I _thought_ I'd got the problem fixed
- by making sure the router runs cool and by slightly moving my PC to
improve signal strength - but I hadn't. Copying large files or
watching divx movies over the router frequently causes the wireless
features of the router to disappear.
I'm onto my second WRG614 (from BroadbandBuyer, who've been very good
so far) and I'm disappointed to say that the new one suffers from the
same problem.
As a first check, I'd make sure you're not running the router too hot.
For example, if you're using it with a Netgear DM602 modem and you've
got them stacked up, then they're probably overheating. When I used
the pair in that configuration it _really_ de-stabilised the router.
After that however, you may still suffer. I think I'm going to change
to something more bullet-proof. Haven't decided what yet...
