I am using a cable modem along with Netgear WGR614 wireless router and
a Toshiba laptop having a Netgear WG121 USB wirelss adapter and am able
to communicate (with strong signal) between the two. However, after I
access 5 to 6 websites successfully I am not able to access any more -
not even the Home page. This happens everytime until I reboot, then I
can only access about 5 to 6 sites again. The computer does not freeze
up. I can move cursor, etc. My laptop has 96Mb of memory, a 266 MHz
Pentium CPU, and a 4.3 billion byte HD. Also, I've checked the Settings
and the WG121 adapter driver is fine (no conflicts). The point is that
I can communicate fine, but only up to a fixed no. of websites. Is
there a setting I need to change or some other explanation? My BIOS
settings have the USB enabled. One last piece of information: I also
have two hardwired desktop computers hooked up to same setup and they
work fine. All suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Gibby

Sounds to me like the router's bad. There are firmware updates
available at the Netgear website, so first make sure your version (I
think there are 4 or 5 614s) has the latest firmware.
