Netgear WGR614 802.11g

I have a Netgear WGR614 802.11g, and a Linksys 802.11g wireless
notebook card but I can not seem to connect to the router for more
than 10 seconds. I get a connection, but it is then dropped
immediately. I have disabled WEP...but that doesn't seem to help. I
have tried the connection manager in both Windows XP, and the little
tool for the Linksys card... no go...

I suspect a MAC filter on the router for the WLAN... Check it, check a
common (correct) configuration too...
