It depends, if you are running the Netgear Wireless utility, unload the
utility from startup and use Windows Wireless Zero Configuration.

There is also a possibility that one, two, or all of these processes are
part of the Drivers and there is No solution but getting a better Wireless
cards.

This card would work with Vista too (if one of these days you would
upgrade).
