Netgear WG311 Computer Freeze

Ever since I installed this card, my computer has been freezing up.
Anyone have this similar experience?

Very unusual. Are you certain it does not freeze without the card?

How old is your computer and what OS are you running? It seems to me that
there could be a device conflict. Is this a Laptop or a desktop?

It is a desktop pc running Windows 98SE. I'm going to get a wired ethernet
card instead because this is just to frustrating! I've contacted the Netgear
helpdesk and they said:

I would suggest you to completely remove the drivers and utility of the
adaptor, by using Add/Remove program in the control panel and then check
reinstall the same.

I did this and everything is the same.

As you too have found out Netgear stuff, software and support is cr*p.
Return it if you can. Get Orinoco and you be OK, I am.
