Hello,

I have a Netgear router and MN-720 adapter (Win 98SE OS
laptop).I tried to establish wireless connection but
unable to do so because the adapter setup does not accept
the WEP key assigned in wireless settings of router.I
tried various troubleshooting steps like disable
WEP,change network name (SSID) and change channel number
but its of no use.I even tried manual configuration but
still the connection shows up as disconnected in the BNU.

When I tried ipconfig, the ip address of the adapter was
169.254.x.y.I did release and renew but the ip address
does not change.I also reinstalled the software but still
unsuccessfull.

So could you please email me your suggestion regarding
this issue.

Thank you,

Sincerely

Amit Gokarn
