Thank you for your advice. I have already attempted an
address reservation and also to change the IP address of
the print server to a static one, but neither has worked.
Since posting my original query I have also tested the
print server with the Kyocera printer with our own
network which has an almost identical structure (i.e
Windows 2003 server with a mixed O/S client base) and the
print server and printer worked flawlessly. I have also
tested the server with a direct connection to the clients
switch to rule out some sought of cable fault. It still
failed.
