Netgear MR814 - useless log

I just got a Netgear MR814 V.2 wireless router.

The box says it has a "security log".

But when I checked the log, all I see is a log of MY internet activity
- where I go (no incomming)..

EVEN WORSE, it doesn't have a function to turn off this syping on my
activity.

And when I called Netgear and got 'disconnected' no one called me
back - so I assume they just hung up on me.

I think it's pretty stupid to not provide, at least, the ability to
turn of this log - which to me is useless.

Now I have to waste time and money returning this thing.
