Hi everyone, I am hoping you can help.
I have had my MR814 Wireless Router for three months and it worked
flawlessly. Then, just two days ago, the connection became VERY slow. If I
direct dial to Verizon DSL, I get my usual fast connection.
I have not changed any computer setting or router settings that would
explain the slowness. I have tried this on my laptop and desktop and have
had the same results, a slow connection. Both use Netgear wireless cards to
access the network and both run Windows XP Professional. Sometimes, I even
get a "Page could not be found" error in my browser.
I am running WEP but changed no other settings in the router. But like I
said, even with WEP running, it was working perfectly for three months and
then, wham, slow connection.
